This is me. I have absolutely no reason to explain myself to you and yet that is exactly what I am doing. Essentially, the above song is my anthem. Whatever you interpret it to mean is probably what you will interpret me to mean.

Some basics: I'm 18, female, straight, and slightly insane. I find the idea that some people walk a fine line between genius and insanity preposterous. You either are a genius or you aren't, there is no middle ground. Insanity is only society's way of labeling and attempting to control those who think differently from the majority.

Myself, I would probably fit into the societal definition of insane. Or at least come close. Frankly, I don't care. If I'm insane then at least I'm unique unlike all the rest of you. As far as the genius is concerned, I probably could be. It's never been tested and if I am a genius I'm only a mild one. True genius is rare and hard to identify which is why society feels the need to have IQ tests. As far as those are concerned, I score quite high. Doesn't mean anything.

That was much longer and much more theoretical than I had originally planned. If you want to know anything else just read the journal. That's why you're here anyway right?
